So I'm new to being a writer. Well, trying to.
Many years ago, I had a semi-successful blog. But I don't think that I ever considered myself a writer. I don't know what my voice is. I don't know hardly anything that goes into writing. All that I know is that I want to put words out there into the world. Maybe I'll change someone's life, but maybe I'll just talk to the void. We'll see.
So my thoughts right now are:
What do I need to do to set up a writing routine?
What is a reasonable word count goal in order to not get burnt out, but to also feel like I am getting something accomplished?
What is going to be the best method to both get my writing out into the world and to market it.
Big. Ass. Shrug.
I have no idea whatsoever.
So, to start, I think I might just shoot for 1000 words and see how it feels to produce that. I don't think I'll have more than an hour or two most days to devote to this, and I really don't know if that is a feasible number.
